Starbridge

Recruitment decisions rarely fail because nobody looked at a CV. They become difficult when business needs, available talent, compensation, personality, timing and legal constraints all have to come together at once.

We approach that complexity from three angles. Sabrina starts with people and the market. Felix starts with the business problem and the evidence. Hamdy starts with interests, fairness and what will hold up in practice.

Americas | Executive Search, Key Accounts & Market Intelligence

Sabrina

Sabrina brings the human and market perspective to Starbridge.

Her recruitment experience spans professional and executive positions across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, technology, consulting, agribusiness and consumer goods, with searches for organizations including Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, KPMG, Danone, Lenovo and DXC Technology. Her mandates have covered the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific — from specialist roles to general managers, partners and functional directors.

At Starbridge she is responsible for the Americas and leads much of the executive recruitment, key-account management and market intelligence.

What sets her apart is a feel for both sides of a hiring process. A company may have an excellent opportunity, but the right candidate will not automatically recognize it — so she keeps asking:

What does somebody need to understand in the first few moments to become interested enough to start the conversation?

And because attraction alone does not make a good hire, she pays just as much attention to whether expectations, motivations and management style will still fit once the contract is signed.

Areas of particular experience

  • Executive and professional recruitment

  • International search

  • Market intelligence and compensation

  • Candidate and client relationship management

  • Motivation and personality alignment

Outside Starbridge, Sabrina is a mother of two, strongly family-oriented and shares that family life with her dogs and cats.

Europe & Asia | Assessment, Consulting & Executive Search

Felix

Felix brings the analytical and systems perspective to Starbridge.

His background combines leadership experience in the German Armed Forces, international business and responsibility for support functions from HR to IT. Before Starbridge he founded and built his own technology startup — an experience that taught him to treat recruitment not as an isolated HR activity, but as a business decision with consequences for strategy, cost and execution.

For him, a search begins before sourcing:

What business problem is this person supposed to solve? What must they actually be able to do — and how can we measure it? What can the company realistically offer?

At Starbridge, Felix is responsible for Europe and Asia and leads the work around candidate assessment, HR consulting, organizational design and structured decision-making. He has a particular knack for turning vague requirements into criteria that can actually be evaluated — “excellent Microsoft Office skills”, for example, means little until you know which application, which tasks and at what level.

Areas of particular experience

  • Candidate assessment and testing

  • Executive recruitment

  • Organizational design

  • HR and management consulting

  • Compensation and incentive structures

  • Process design and automation

Outside work, Felix is a father and has a long-standing fascination with astronomy — from observational technology to the complex physical systems behind what we see in the night sky.

Middle East | Legal, International Hiring & Workforce Solutions

Hamdy

Hamdy brings the legal, operational and interest-balancing perspective to Starbridge.

His background lies in major international construction projects in the Middle East, where entire project organizations have to be established within tight timelines. He has helped build teams involving hundreds of hires across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt, including the practicalities of setting up new operations, international employment, labor law and immigration.

Hamdy leads our Middle East work and coordinates the contractual, employment and mobility aspects of appointments, working with appropriately qualified local legal and immigration advisers where specialist advice is required.

His contribution goes beyond legal correctness. A contract can protect a company and still create the wrong relationship — which is why he asks one question of every agreement:

Can both sides understand this, accept it as fair and realistically work with it?

That perspective is especially valuable in international searches, where the same wording or employment package can be read very differently depending on culture and context.

Areas of particular experience

  • International employment and labor matters

  • Visa and mobility requirements

  • Contract structures

  • Large-scale project recruitment

  • Workforce planning

  • Middle Eastern markets

Outside work, Hamdy is a father of three, an enthusiastic coffee lover and deeply interested in music, particularly the classical Arabic tradition and artists such as Umm Kulthum.
